Terms of Service

These Terms govern the web development and software consulting services offered by Muhammad Junayed, an individual based in Bangladesh, through the website junayed.dev. By contacting me for a project, accepting a proposal, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms.

Services include, but are not limited to: full-stack web development, backend and API development, custom web application development, WordPress development, Shopify development, performance optimization, and technical consulting — delivered either on a Project Based engagement (fixed scope, milestones, and budget) or a Dedicated Retainer engagement (ongoing monthly work).

The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for any project are agreed in writing (via a proposal, quote, or invoice) before work begins. Work outside that agreed scope is treated as a change request and may affect timeline and price, discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.

• Project-based work is typically invoiced against milestones agreed upfront (e.g. a deposit to begin, with remaining payments tied to delivery stages).
• Retainer work is invoiced on a recurring (typically monthly) basis for the agreed allocation.
• Invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Late payment may pause active work until resolved.
• All prices are quoted and invoiced in the currency stated on the proposal or invoice.

Upon receipt of full payment for a project, ownership of the custom code and deliverables created specifically for that project transfers to the client. Pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, or general-purpose code I bring into a project remain my property (or that of their respective open-source licenses) and are licensed to you for use as part of the delivered project.

Unless you request otherwise in writing, I retain the right to reference completed projects (name, description, and non-confidential details) in my portfolio and case studies.

Timely feedback, access credentials, content, and decisions from you are often required to keep a project on schedule. Delays in providing these may extend the project timeline accordingly.

The number of revision rounds included is defined per proposal. Additional revisions beyond what's agreed can typically be accommodated as a paid change request.

Services are delivered with professional care and to the specification agreed in writing. I do not guarantee specific business outcomes (such as traffic, conversions, or revenue), as these depend on many factors outside of the delivered software. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for any claim arising from these services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement with written notice. Work completed and reasonably in progress up to the termination date is payable. Retainers may be cancelled with notice per the terms stated in the specific proposal.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific engagement.

These Terms may be updated occasionally. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; continued engagement after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
